2026 Spring Cohort: Wednesdays March 4, April 1, May 6, June 3: 8:30am – 4:30pm Pacific time, on zoom
This 4-day, 24-CEU program is aimed at master’s-level clinicians, social workers, counselors, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physician assistants, etc. Participants must attend all four days to receive a certificate of completion as well as guidance and support in their work on decisional capacity assessments.
Two cohorts in 2025 trained nearly 50 clinicians nationwide, who were welcomed to an ongoing collaborative working group to discuss cases and professional strategies.

EEI provides professional level, CEU granting workshops and programs for clinicians and other service providers who work with older adults and their unique mental health needs. Trainings are taught by experts in the field of aging and mental health who offer a diverse range of in-depth explorations into how aging can impact our mental health and how our mental health can impact other aspects of aging.

As an approved mental health supervisor, Karin provides clinical supervision to candidates working toward full licensure in mental health counseling.
Candidates should have at least one year post-master's experience and an established client base and/or agency employment.
Licensure supervision hourly rates:

As an experienced geriatric mental health specialist and approved supervisor, Karin provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals working toward the Washington state GMHS specialty credential.
Requirements (per WAC 182-538D-0200)
A "geriatric mental health specialist" is defined as a mental health professional who has the following education and experience:
(i) A minimum of one hundred actual hours (not quarter or semester hours) of specialized training devoted to the mental health problems and treatment of people age sixty and older; and
(ii) The equivalent of one year of full-time experience in the treatment of people age sixty and older, under the supervision of a geriatric mental health specialist.
